MTSS Procedures

Parent communication is the first line of communication prior to the counselor speaking with a parent.

Refer to the MTSS forms and send them to the student's counselor to request student services

Prior to putting in a request for an MTSS referral, be sure you have documented parent contact, documented differentiated approaches for learning/behavior, and use MTSS documents for classroom intervention.

MTSS meetings are held from October thru May for students meeting criteria and referred by staff.
